Very nice
I was searching for some ear buds to replace the standard iPod issue. I got a pair of Shure e2c’s for Xmas and have never been able to get them to fit my ears no matter what fitting I used. After much experimentation I was able to get some of the foam fittings to work but the sound was still lacking. No bass at all. After doing some reading I decided to take a chance on the V-MODA Vibes. At first I was a little concerned they might be to bassie. Well, that is not the case. The bass is definitley there but it’s not overwhelming by any means. So far I like the V-MODAs a lot. I was able to wear them right out of the box - I haven’t even tried any of the other fittings. Plus they’re not as clunky as the Shures. The smaller size enables me to fit almost the entire bud in my ear. I am quite pleased with my purchase. Anyone interested in a slightly used pair of e2c’s?
Earbuds sound great
These earbuds sound great. The bass is great. Great frequency response.
I bought these for use in the gym. So far they have held up well. They do a good job of blocking out the sound from the gym’s music system. Very comfortable to wear. They work great with the ipod.
V-moda vibe earbuds
As a student, I don’t want to spend too much money on earbuds. These earbuds I found are amazing for the amount of money your spending on it.
You’ll save a hell of a lot of battery power with these earbuds, because you don’t need to listen at such a high level to receive great quality sound.
And the quality is a hugh improvement over any earbuds you get from Apple or Samsung included with their mp3 players.
Lastly, let me just say these earbuds aren’t exactly noise cancelling, but they are for sure effective noise reducing earbuds. You’re in your own world when you wear these in a public place. You almost need to take them off every once in a while to realize theres a million conversations going on around you in just say, a cafeteria.
Overall, you don’t need to go out and buy any Shure or Bose earbuds…although I’m sure the quality may be a bit better, you’ll be paying well over a hundred dollars. These are cheap, very effective, and full of quality. Good for hip hop, but they’re also good for rock or any other genre of music. Thanks
very good value
Just received these and they appear to be a very good value. Initially they were a little shrill but after burning them in ( plug them in and put the player on shuffle for about 10 hours) they were fine. When using these phones make sure that you just place them lightly in your ear canal so that they are snug but not too tight. if jammed into your ears the bass is overwhelming and distorted. On sound alone I would have rated the full five stars but went with 4 because the connecting wires seem a little, well, delicate… Overall a very good value.
[worth every PENNY]
Over the past four years I’ve purchased at least four different sets of earphones–none of which stand up to the amazing quality of my V-Moda pair.

+
[EXTREMELY comfortable] snug fitting, light-weight
[AMAZING sound quality] great for a wide variety of music genres
[SYLISH] who has red earphones?!
[SOUND REDUCTION] great for minimizing sound on public transportation!
-
[Tangle easily] lack of slider to hold buds together when not in use
[Do not work with iphones] or at least my pair don’t

OVERALL: They’re no bose, but you get what you see/read (that is…everything except the “stylish” little bag to keep everything in–could live without the cheap thing!). V-Moda promises quality sound with a sense of fashion, and they deliver…for a GREAT price.
*ALSO NOTE: Apple has recently decided to sell them as an option to use with ipods (because we all know ibuds are nothing more than part of apple’s trendy brand image with lacking comfort and sound!). These bad boys are the wave of the future!!
