wears out with usage 
this is a great invention…..but…..if you are someone like me who always has a camera in hand to catch the kids doing something…warning….the flip phone will wear out very fast………..it works as stated…..very easy….downloads great…but after a week my is dead…………it wont do a thing…..i have heard from others that same thing happened to them. so, if you like to always be taking pics/movies then you should buy yourself a regular type camcorder. if you will only use this every now and then,….maybe for a birthday or christmas then this is the camcorder for you.
Company Reps
I realized this morning that a lot of the reviews for this product sound a lot like a representative from the company defending their product. I guess this is the new trend on Amazon, and so now the reviews will become useless. There’s really no way for Amazon to keep this from happening. I wander what they will come up with the thwart this sort of self promotional review diluting activities.
SIMPLE!!! 
this is a great, easy to use video camera. My wife and I love the fact that it is pocketable and the controls are super simple. We make short clips of our 16-month old daughter and easily share them with our friends and family over the Internet. It is really simple and quick. The video quality is great for our needs. And… It’s inexpensive! Recommended 100%
whats up with the software?? 
OK, so I just got my flip yesterday, and I LOVE it!!! so cute, portable and rediculously easy to operate! LOVE IT! however, when I plugged it into my computer (mac) it started installing the built in software, my computer is a little older and it froze during the downloading process, so I had to restart my computer thus losing all the downloading it was doing, when I went to try it again it said there was an error in the software and to restart my comp. so i did. well now it wont let me re-download the process so I can edit my videos and its nowhere to be found on how to get it back! very frustrating! so again, LOVE the camera hate that it didnt come with a software disk!
Handy, good image quality
I like this gadget. A point-and-shoot camcorder. Not much bigger than a cell phone and no bigger than a webcam, but far better video quality than either.
Pros:
1. Really good image quality. Surprisingly good color balance and sharpness.
2. Good audio.
3. Easy transfer
4. Intuitive controls
5. Hardware installs the software.
6. Good price
Cons:
1. Main button designed to prevent accidental recording, which makes it balky. Sometimes have to press repeatedly to get it to start recording.
2. Software scene trimmer only works for full-size clips. Does not trim clips for email/web.
Wish list:
1. Backlight compensation switch
2. Image stabilization
The words for this little camcorder are, “handy” and “easy”.
